Sally
Prone to spending rather too much time with her head amongst the leaves of trees, bushes and plants generally, Sally has been a keen natural historian since childhood. After a brief interlude as a pretentious music/fine art student and also as an accounts bod, she recently returned to higher education to embrace her inner-nerdiness, studying first bird biology and then conservation biology/ecology. She is now in her element being a PhD researcher at University of Exeter, Centre for Ecology & Conservation (Cornwall Campus), investigating how non-native invasive species of the entomological variety interact in native foodwebs. Sally lives with her lovely Other Half and gorgeous Small Person in a little granite cottage in a little granite village in the far, far west of Cornwall.
